Videogames

Blackfyre is Introduced to Videogames

Games were present in my life ever since I was a kid. I think the first game that I played was Kangaroo, Super Mario 64, or Mario Kart 64. These were the light ones; the first game in which you “kill” someone was definitely Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour. I remember to this day my excitement when playing this RTS for the first time.

RTS

The category that I played the most as a kid. I was a huge fan (still am) of Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour. Maybe the fact that I’m autistic helped with enjoying it, lmao.

Besides C&C, I also played a lot of Commandos, though not as much as my brother. Commandos has a story mode and three installments, which make the playtime less than C&C.
C&C had campaign mode, skirmish (that I played a lot against bots), and challenge mode that you could replay a lot to improve the results and challenge yourself.

Racing Games

The game that consumed a lot of my time was Need for Speed. I played a lot of Need for Speed Underground 2 and Most Wanted. Even my sister played Underground 2; she didn’t play Most Wanted because she wasn’t into the cop chases and thought it was too difficult, lmao.

I will talk about NFS and my other favorite racing franchise, FlatOut. They were good games; I miss them. They either ceased to exist or became a shadow of their former selves — EA killed NFS, and FlatOut changed ownership, and the third and fourth installments are something completely different (bad).

Third Person, First Person, and Shooters

As a kid, when I got older, eventually my brother let me play more violent games like Max Payne, Battlefield, Counter-Strike, STALKER, Half-Life, Tomb Raider, and, of course, Grand Theft Auto.

Each one of these games mentioned had a huge impact on my life and personality. I liked them a lot, and if I had a recorded playtime since childhood, holy — it would have many hours spent on them. I will talk about each one of them, speaking in detail and explaining why YOU SHOULD PLAY THEM IF YOU HAVEN’T.

Violence and war are fantastic, and these games prove it. I enjoy every single gunfight, puzzle, and challenge they’ve provided me. They made me who I am — not like that was a good thing.

Talking about them will feel good, I’m sure of it. I hope that my person can provide some hype and keep them an interesting subject.
